What are we about?
The Federal Writers Project is a United States federal government project that funds and supports the works of writers. The project was established in July 27, 1935 by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This project is part of the Works Progress Administration, a New Deal Program.
What is our purpose?
This project is made for employing writers, editors, historians, researchers, art critics, archaeologists, geologists and cartographers. This will help people get jobs. We are focusing on employing millions of people. The original purpose of the Federal Writers Project was to make series of sectional guide books under the name American Guide that focuses on the scenic, historical, cultural, and economic resources of the United States
Where will our program be used?
Our program will be implemented all over the to give writers there freedom to be creative. It would not be hard to find a potential writer in every home. As a child, everyone is taught how to read and write and everyone will develop those skills in the future. Everyone has an interest in writing or reading. That is why this program will be used anywhere.
How will we achieve our goal?
We will be focusing on providing unemployed writers jobs. There are millions of creative minds out in the world. By funding writers we will make more jobs. Developing these writers books would sell all around the world. Parents buying their kids books, kids becoming interested and further educate themselves with works of writing. This is how our program will look, generation after generation.
